TermMeaning
ApeTo buy fast, usually without research.
ATHAll-time high: the highest price or market cap a coin has traded at.
BagYour position in a coin. Bag holder: someone still holding after it fell.
Bonding curveThe launchpad's pricing formula. Before a pool exists the curve sells and buys tokens, and the price rises as supply is bought.
Bonded / graduated / migratedA coin that completed its bonding curve and moved to a real liquidity pool (PumpSwap for pump.fun).
Bubble mapA picture of a coin's holders where wallets funded from the same source are linked, so one person's many wallets show as one cluster.
BundleSeveral wallets buying in the same block as the launch, usually the creator buying their own supply through many wallets.
CAContract address: the token's unique mint address. Always buy by CA, never by ticker.
Caller / KOLAn account that posts coins for its followers. KOL means key opinion leader.
CTOCommunity takeover: holders take over a coin's socials after the dev leaves.
DegenA trader who takes outsized risks, often proudly.
DevThe wallet that created the coin. "Dev sold" means the creator sold their tokens.
Dev wallet checkerA tool that lists every coin a creator launched and how each ended.
Diamond hands / paper handsHolding through drops / selling at the first one.
Final stretchCoins close to completing their bonding curve, where volume usually arrives.
FDVFully diluted value: price times total supply. For most memecoins it equals market cap.
JeetA seller who takes a tiny profit early, often blamed for every red candle.
Jito / MEV protectionSending a transaction through Jito so it is not visible in the public mempool before it lands, which keeps sandwich bots off it.
King of the hillpump.fun's spotlight for the coin closest to graduating.
LiquidityThe SOL and tokens in a coin's pool. Low liquidity means every trade moves the price a lot.
Market capPrice times circulating supply. The number memecoin traders talk in ("in at 20K, out at 200K").
Mint / freeze authorityRights to create more tokens or freeze wallets. Both should be revoked on a memecoin.
NarrativeThe story or theme a group of coins rides: an event, a meme, a sector.
New pairsCoins created in the last minutes.
Paper tradingPractice trades filled at real prices with no real money.
PnLProfit and loss. Realized is closed; open is marked at the live price.
Priority feeAn extra fee that puts your transaction ahead of others in the same block.
Rug / rug pullThe creator or insiders selling or pulling liquidity, crashing the price.
RunnerA coin that keeps going up after its first move.
SlippageHow far from the quoted price you allow a trade to fill before it fails.
Smart moneyWallets with a record of buying early and selling well.
SniperA bot or wallet that buys in the first blocks after launch.
Supply share / top 10The percentage of tokens held by the largest wallets. A high top-10 share is a risk.
TickerA coin's symbol, like $BONK. Not unique: copies launch constantly.
TP / SLTake profit and stop loss: automatic sells at a gain or a loss.
